Features

Alternate Sound

  1. These are for only some 707/727 sounds

  2. Get into TR-REC mode

  3. Hold down Instrument

  4. Press the programmed step to alternate red and pink

Chain Patterns

  1. Press PTN Select

  2. Hold down the button of the pattern to start the chain

  3. Hold down the button of the pattern to end then chain

Change Instrument Gain

  1. In Drum Select, tap Kit

  2. Hold down the instrument selection button to change

  3. Turn the Tempo

Change Reverb or Delay Type

  1. In Drum Select, tap Inst

  2. Tap the Step of effect to change (Reverb, Delay, Sidechain)

  3. The Pads, 1–16 should light with available options (not all buttons will be lit)

  4. Choose the option

Copy Instrument Pattern

  1. Select pattern to copy

  2. Hold Ptn-Select

  3. Press the Inst Select button (BD–RC) of the instrument to copy

  4. You can repeat this to select more than one instrument

  5. Press Ptn-Select

  6. Press the pad 1–16 of the pattern to paste to

Delete Pattern

  1. Press Ptn-Select

  2. Hold Clear

  3. Press the pad 1–16 of the pattern to clear

Flam

  1. Get into TR-REC mode

  2. Hold down TR-REC

  3. Press the programmed step (pad lights purple)

  4. To set spacing, hold down TR-REC again

  5. Turn Tempo

Mute During Playback

  1. Tap Inst Play

  2. Lights for 1–16 will change

  3. Tap 16 to turn on Mute mode

  4. Tap the instrument pad to mute/un-mute

Pan Instrument

  1. In Drum Select, tap Inst

  2. Hold down the instrument's button

  3. Turn the Tempo knob to adjust pan

Random Pattern

  1. Hold Ptn-Select

  2. Press Scatter On

  3. Press TR-Rec to save

Rolls During Playback

  1. Tap Inst Play

  2. Lights for 1–16 will change

  3. Hold 12–15

  4. Tap the instrument pad to roll

Select Instrument

  1. In Drum Select, tap Inst

  2. Tap the instrument to change, BD–RC

  3. The Pads, 1–16 should light with available options (not all buttons will be lit)

  4. Choose the option (pink is 808, yellow is 909, orange is 707, blue is 727)
